About Dr Bhanu Dev Sharma 
Dr. Bhanu Dev Sharma completed his undergraduate studies in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc & A.H) at Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, India in 2008. Coming from a family of veterinarians, he began his professional journey in the small animal sector immediately upon graduation. Over time, he pursued his passion further by earning a Master’s degree in Small Animal Veterinary Cardiology from the University of Luxembourg.
He has completed certification courses in CT scan, Radiology, & Internal Medicine at the European School for Advanced Veterinary Studies (ESAVS).

About V-Clamp

With a compact size of approximately 8 mm, it is surgically implanted to conjoin the two leaflets of the mitral valve in patients afflicted with myxomatous mitral valve disease. This action aims to mitigate the backward flow of blood through the valve, a phenomenon responsible for heart failure in both veterinary and human cases. Clinical studies have validated the V-Clamp's efficacy in reducing the severity of mitral valve regurgitation in dogs.
